Bio and Platform: Adam Ahmed is running for the ASUN Student Senate for the College of Science. He is a third-year student majoring in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry (organic-analytical). Currently, he is also involved in behavioral analysis research and Greek life. He is dedicated to making positive changes for his fellow students. His top priority is increasing undergraduate research opportunities and resources for College of Science students who are considering careers in academia or additional education. He wants to ensure that students in need of these opportunities know where to start and to make communication between students and professors less daunting. His goal is to make sure students have easy access to knowledge and connections that will help them explore and make decisions for their future careers beyond an undergraduate education.

Beyond the College of Science, his priorities for the general student body of UNR are both campus safety and sustainability. He wants to ensure campus safety that will make all students & faculty feel secure and confident in their own university. Finally, he wants to continue to promote environmental sustainability both here at UNR and the Reno community as a whole.

He is keen to work with administration and the student senate to improve UNR to make all of your campus experiences excellent. He is eager to hear your concerns and would be honored to have your vote.
