Bio and Platform: Aween Ali is a Sophomore studying Computer Science and Engineering. She is passionate about representing the students in the College of Engineering. She is a Teaching Fellow for CS 135 where she aids the TAs during labs and holds office hours and workshops to help her students. Currently, she is a senator representing her college on the table by making sure the students in her college have a voice. She has taken input from students about current issues in the Engineering department and how they can be tackled from an ASUN Perspective. She is also the Commitee chair of IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility) where she runs committee meetings and focuses on issues related to IDEA. Her goals for this next upcoming session is to become more closer to the Engineering department staff and have regular meetings with them where she can work on legislation for the betterment of her college. She would also like to work on how she can bring more accessibility to students who are financially struggle. Aween is determined to bring change on campus and she believes that her impact on the table will help students within her college and this campus.
