Bio and Platform: Mark Meiszburger is a first generation college student currently in his second year of college studying a degree in business finance. He is from Las Vegas, Nevada and has intentions to create a streamlined connection between the ASUN and its student body. In order to ensure this, Mark plans to host events and create lasting opportunities for students to explore different paths and create lifelong memories all while ensuring transparency between the ASUN, The University of Nevada, Reno and its student body.

Mark also plans to strengthen the pack by promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by taking initiative to make sure that all students feel welcomed in the University. Furthermore, his plans to revitalize traditions such as the March to the Arch or Mackay Week serve as benchmarks in his goal to bridge gaps between students and solidify lifelong experiences. He also plans to work extensively with on and off campus organizations to better the relationship between the University and the Reno community.

On campus, Mark is the incumbent senator for the College of Business and a proud member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity off campus. He has pridefully held numerous elected positions in both organizations and is excited to use these experiences to promote inclusivity and equal opportunity for all students. His burning passion and drive to serve the students of the University first and foremost is why he believes he has the ability to improve the strength of this university and serve the best interest of the students.
