Andrew wants to continue to improve the University of Nevada through his experiences and collaboration with other student voices on campus. He served as an ASUN Legislative-Senate intern during the 88th session and currently serves as a Senator for the College of Engineering. He sits on the Committee on Academics and Student Affairs, as well as Budget and Finance. Andrew has worked on various projects throughout the 89th session including supporting the use of open educational resources in course instruction and is currently pursuing the implementation of a 24-hour study space at the Knowledge Center during finals week. If re-elected, Andrew plans to work with University Libraries to continue the expansion of open educational resource utilization in courses and wants to explore how on-campus meal plan dining options could be made more accessible for students. Andrew hopes to continue representing his peers in the College of Engineering to the best of his ability.
