Ryleigh McCulley

Senator for the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources

Ryleigh McCulley is a sophomore in the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural resources and is thrilled to be a candidate for an ASUN CABNR senate seat. She is currently studying Veterinary Science with the hopes to be a mixed animal veterinarian with a specialization in Oncology. Ryleigh was born and raised in the Reno area and grew up with a successful single mom, in a male dominated field. Through this experience she was able to learn the importance of perseverance, a strong work ethic, and compassion. These are the characteristics Ryleigh would bring to the position of CABNR senator, as well as the implementation of the infamous saying “actions speak louder than words.” Outside of attending the University, Ryleigh loves going to local events/restaurants, spending time outside with her dog, volunteering within the community, and hosting her show, Heavy Hitters, on Wolf Pack Radio. Her main goal as CABNR senator would be to create a sense of pride in CABNR and the University, as well as to bring awareness to Women in STEM and the importance of mental health.
