Bio and Platform: Kaiden Gibson is in their junior year studying Political Science at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is autistic, first gen, and is a part of the LGBTQ+ community. He is running for a seat within the Honor College to better connect with students from the institution and the community. Kaiden believes that having a voice that can listen to students' comments or suggestions will help better the student experience.

The main goal Kaiden wants to achieve is to promote the Honors College more effectively. Hence, students know Honor College's mission is to increase enrollment numbers. This would entail promoting on campus and in a high school setting to help students in the Reno/Sparks area know the institution and the Honor College better. Kaiden Gibson understands how people can be anxious to have their voices heard, so the many goals besides promoting the Honors College would be to bring a sense of community and promote resources on campus so that no student is left behind.

In Kaiden's free time, you can find Kaiden advocating for rights for LGBTQ+, POC, and the disability community. Kaiden also watches anime, reads manga, listens to music, and hangs out with friends. Kaiden also uses his free time to promote for the people around him.

With Kaiden's track record for helping students in numerous past experiences assisting students and community members, he will continue to use his knowledge to help everyone around him and respect the Honor College's message and mission.
