Every student of the University of Nevada, Reno pays $6.10 per credit. The following is a breakdown of how those funds are allocated.

Student services

This portion of the budget accounts for Legal Services, Pack Rides, Inkblot Marketing, student media, Pack Internship Grants, Pack Provisions, undergraduate research funding and journal, and emergency tuition and assistance programs.
Wages
$1,559,936.71
As one of the largest student employers on campus, ASUN wouldn’t be able to operate without more than 200 student leaders who staff and direct our programs and services. ASUN also works with a team of professional staff members to ensure that day-to-day operations are maintained.
Contingency Reserve
$62,125.00
The purpose of the contingency reserve is to provide flexibility in times of fiscal emergency by placing 2.5% of the General Fund in a reserve line.
Campus Programs
$754,070.00
ASUN aims to provide all students will the tools they need for success. In addition to services and events offered, 5% of the budget is solely dedicated to scholarships and grants.
GOVERNMENT
$91,310.00
The government portion of the ASUN budget includes the executive board, the senate, the judicial branch, legislative affairs and elections.
