Bio and Platform: Madison Kitch, a junior from Las Vegas, Nevada, is rerunning for the Honors College Senate seat. She is studying Journalism and Political Science. As the inaugural Honors College senator, Madison would like to continue her service in the 93rd session. By focusing on consistency, transparency, and advocacy, she aims to lead with honor.
In her present term, she has consistently prioritized the Honors College and advocated for them at the table. She regularly collaborates with Honors staff to provide valuable student input within the college as well as the Honors College Student Council to plan and advertise events.
If re-elected, Madison wants to continue her work with the ASUN Honors interns. She has guided current Honors interns through projects related to the Honors College and ASUN, with the intent of providing these students with Honors co-curricular credits. This is a valuable program and one Madison intends to tweak and improve next session with Honors interns if re-elected.
Madison is dedicated to her work with the Center for Civil Rights and Equal Access (formerly the Title IX Office). She advocates for the CCR office at the Senate table and provides student input on events and marketing. Madison takes pride in working with this office and wants to continue building a stronger relationship with the CCR team.
By leading with responsibility, grace, and honor, Madison has proven to be a successful senator for the Honors College. Re-elect Madison Kitch as your Honors College senator to continue good leadership.
