Bio and Platform: Natalie is a first-generation sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada, studying Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a dedicated student leader, serving as a Student Ambassador for the university and an active member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is proud to be running for re-election as a College of Science Senator in the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN).
As a current College of Science Senator, Natalie has worked hard to represent the interests of her peers. She has built a close partnership with the dean of the College of Science to ensure students’ voices are heard and acted upon. Natalie has also focused on increasing transparency within ASUN, especially for clubs and organizations, while prioritizing student concerns in every decision.
If re-elected, Natalie plans to continue advocating for College of Science students by addressing access to research opportunities, improving lab resources, and enhancing career development support. She is dedicated to creating open communication so students feel heard and represented. As a first-generation student, Natalie understands the challenges of navigating college and will work to expand mentorship programs and improve access to resources that support student success.
Outside ASUN, Natalie is a bank teller who enjoys skiing in the winter, peaceful walks, and exploring local shops. She cherishes time with her three brothers—including her twin—and her supportive parents, especially her mom, who inspires her with her strength and success.
Natalie looks forward to continuing her efforts to make meaningful change for the College of Science.
