Bio and Platform: Nick Bohlander is sophomore in the College Business majoring in Management and Marketing. He has been part of ASUN since his freshman year, beginning as an intern for Clubs and Organizations and currently serving as a Commissioner for Political/Social and Faith Based coalitions. As a Commissioner, he has gained a deep appreciation for the importance of student involvement on campus and the effect that clubs and organizations have on students at the university. This is what drives him to run for Senate today.

Through his service, Nick intends to build up campus spirit and develop professional preparedness for post-college life. He plans to do this through increasing funding for clubs and organizations to support their operations, on-campus presence and community service outreach. Nick feels that with an enhanced campus spirit, students will become more inclined to become involved in ventures they’re truly passionate about. He also feels that when students find their passion, they should be able to pursue it as a career. Nick also intends to expand the Pack Internship Grant Program to help students be in an environment where they can gain professional experience in a local or corporate business atmosphere.

Outside of school, Nick works at the UFC Gym where he applies his passions for sales, marketing and martial arts. At age five, he began his path of discovering both of these passions while participating and teaching youth students taekwondo in Las Vegas at Victory Martial Arts.
