Bio and Platform: Logan Miceli is a third-year civil engineering student running as an incumbent Senator for the College of Engineering.
Logan is committed to increasing transparency and connectivity among his peers, bridging the gap between student government and the student body. He plans to collaborate with engineering clubs, organizations, and professional firms to expand networking opportunities across all disciplines. Additionally, Logan aims to conduct a student needs assessment to identify valuable existing courses and explore potential new offerings. This initiative will help provide the most sought-after electives within each discipline and create cross-listed opportunities for high-demand courses.
With his experience at UNR, Logan has gained an understanding of engineering students' needs and is dedicated to advocating for them within the Associated Students and the University. His top priority is representing the College of Engineering as a whole and spurring an environment where students feel heard. To achieve this, Logan will extend consistent newsletters and maintain public outreach. He also plans to increase the College’s exposure to prospective undergraduates through marketing and student ambassador efforts.
Throughout his undergraduate study, Logan has served on the Honors College Student Council and participated in multiple academic and philanthropic organizations at UNR. He also brings professional experience in civil engineering and construction management. Logan is passionate about making a positive impact and is eager to contribute to the Wolf Pack.
