Bio and Platform: Travis Terry, a sophomore majoring in Vocal Performance and Political Science, is seeking reelection as your College of Liberal Arts Senator. Since his appointment in September 2024, Travis has amplified the representation of Liberal Arts students. He stands out as the only Senator from the School of the Arts and the only Liberal Arts Senator with a major outside the Department of Political Science.
Throughout his term, Travis has collaborated directly with clubs, student groups, and campus organizations to address the concerns of the student body. In the fall semester, he worked with Counseling Services and Athletics to continue bringing valuable resources to our campus. This spring, he has begun work to bridge the communication gap that exists between ASUN and the students through legislation mandating the use of more accessible communication. His ongoing outreach with clubs and student organizations within the College of Liberal Arts continues to bring more voices to the table.
Travis has proved himself to be a strong voice for Liberal Arts students at the Senate table. Through legislation and campus collaboration, Travis has done exactly what he sought to do when he was appointed. He is asking for your vote so that he can continue his work in removing the disconnect between the student body and the Associated Students and bringing representation to the College of Liberal Arts as a whole.
