Ralph Padon Villa-Hillcrest is your current ASUN Senator for the School of Public Health, championing students, campus life, and meaningful action. College and ASUN have been more than classrooms or titles to Ralph, they’ve been places of growth, to figure out life, and to understand what it really means to represent others. The challenges he’s faced along the way give him a perspective that many students share but few leaders show. R is for Reno, R is for Ralph, and he’s here to make sure students’ voices are heard, valued, and turned into real change.

During his time in office, Ralph has focused on making sure students who feel unheard or overlooked have a voice. He believes that bringing real experiences into leadership adds empathy, perspective, and depth, making representation more meaningful. His work in ASUN is about showing up, listening, and turning everyday conversations and struggles we all face on a daily into action that actually makes a difference.

Looking ahead, Ralph is prioritising campus cleanliness, sustainability initiatives, and cutting unnecessary internal red tape in ASUN. He’s also working on introducing pet waste disposal areas in spots students and their pets use frequently. Beyond policies, he values the connections, check-ins, and small conversations that remind students their voices matter. He seeks re-election to continue turning shared student experiences into leadership that embodies compassion, effectiveness, and yeah, just a little bit fun.
