Bio and Platform: Ruby Sparks is a Sophomore in Marketing and Management who is driven by passion and independence. She is someone who is already focused on bringing new and creative ideas to this campus. She is the co-founder and Vice President of the Business Fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and the Head Programmer of Peavine LC.

At the core of Ruby’s platform are the values of empathy, inclusion, and accountability. She believes student government should be a space where students feel comfortable sharing their perspectives and confident that those perspectives will be taken seriously. Ruby is deeply committed to representing students who may feel unheard or disconnected from student government. She believes the Senate should be a space where diverse perspectives are welcomed and respected, and where student concerns are translated into meaningful legislative action.

Ruby believes in strong representation begins with listening. Ruby values clear, consistent communication and believes student government should be accessible and approachable. She is committed to improving outreach efforts, so students feel informed, engaged, and confident in their representatives. She believes effective policy should be purposeful, realistic, and centered on student needs, creating tangible outcomes that positively impact the campus community. Ruby views the Senate as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and growth. She is dedicated to bringing her values, passion, and perspective to the table while working alongside fellow Senators to strengthen trust in student government and ensure that every student voice has a place in the conversation.
