Bio and Platform: Luke Calderon is a sophomore at the University of Nevada, Reno, pursuing a dual major in Business Marketing and Management. Originally from Palm Springs, California, Luke came to Nevada with a commitment to service and a drive to leave the university better than he found it. Today, he is running for Vice President to ensure that every member of the Wolf Pack has a seat at the table and a clear path to success.

Luke's leadership is defined by his ability to bridge the gap between diverse student populations. Currently serving as an ASUN Senator for the College of Business, Luke has seen firsthand how student government can-and should-work for the people it represents. He has spent his term advocating for transparency and accountability, ensuring that student voices are the primary drivers of university policy. He believes that the Vice President's role is to be the ultimate advocate, turning student concerns into legislative action that produces results for the entire campus.

Beyond the Senate, Luke is a fixture in the campus community through his extensive work in student organizations and philanthropy. He has dedicated himself to preserving Nevada's legacy by building stronger connections between current students and our vast network of alumni, ensuring that the "Wolf Pack for Life" mentality translates into mentorship and opportunity for all. His dedication to service is further reflected in his role as the Recruitment Chair for Wolf Pack Miracle Network, where he helps unite the campus for a common philanthropic cause, and as Vice President of DECA, where he mentors peers in professional excellence. These roles have taught him that leadership is about more than just a title; it is about building a community where everyone feels they belong.

Luke also understands the day-to-day needs of students through his work as a Career Event Specialist and Student Ambassador. He has spent hundreds of hours helping students navigate the complexities of campus life and professional development, giving him a unique perspective on how to improve student services across all colleges. He is committed to breaking down the barriers between departments to create a more cohesive, supportive environment for every major, from the arts to the sciences.

As your Vice President, Luke will bring this same energy and experience to the Executive Branch. He believes that a united Nevada is a stronger Nevada. His vision is built on revitalizing campus traditions, expanding financial relief through the Secure the Pack initiative, and ensuring that ASUN remains a transparent, accessible resource for everyone. Luke isn't just running to hold office; he is running to be a bridge between the student body and the administration, ensuring that "We Are Nevada" is a reality for every student on campus.
