Bio and Platform: Abdullah Khan is a hardworking Business Management major at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is committed to serving the ASUN Senate with his global outlook and work ethic. As an international student from Pakistan, Abdullah is the first in his family to study outside his home country. He is aware of the bravery it takes to earn a degree in a foreign land. He is running for the College of Business Senate because he wants all students to feel represented and prepared to take on the world.

Abdullah’s campaign is founded on three main principles. First, he will fight to provide more opportunities for students to network. By taking advantage of the booming Reno economy, Abdullah will work to build bridges between students and successful businessmen. Second, he is committed to building an inclusive environment. As an international student himself, Abdullah will act as a bridge for all first-gen students. He will ensure that their voices are heard in the ASUN Senate. Third, Abdullah is committed to supporting the students. As an athlete and fitness enthusiast, he is aware that health is the foundation of academic excellence. He will work to support students in these areas.

With a strong academic background and experience shaped by his family’s trade business, Abdullah has the leadership qualities and down-to-earth approach necessary to run college affairs efficiently. He is a listener, a leader, and a peer who is eager to work tirelessly for the College of Business.
