Bio and Platform: Dillon is a Junior studying Secondary Education and Political Science and is a part of the PackTeach Program. Dillon was born and raised in Sparks, Nevada and has grown up coming to the University of Nevada, Reno.
Dillon is the first in his family to go to Nevada and fell in love with Nevada when he attended Nevada Boys State on UNR’s campus back in 2022. Dillon is the son of a teacher and a local healthcare administrator that taught him the importance of working hard and serving others at every opportunity.
When Dillon came to UNR in 2023, he started to see the issues that affected students and he saw how leaders have consistently made decisions, forgetting students in the process. Students are forced to pay more and more every semester. They don’t get enough out of their services and they don’t feel like their representatives serve them. At the end of the day, they don’t feel like they can take pride in being a part of the Wolf Pack. Dillon is tired of this being our reality at UNR.
During his time in the ASUN Senate, Dillon has worked to ensure that no student is left without a voice. He has stood with UndocuPack, defended undocumented and mixed-status students when their communities were threatened, and fought to protect time-honored student institutions like the Nevada Sagebrush, recognizing that a strong campus requires both progress and preservation. He has also stood with fellow senators to push back against Pack AI when student concerns were ignored, believing that innovation must always be guided by transparency, accountability, and student consent.
Dillon has been a steady voice for reform within ASUN itself. He has worked alongside colleagues to help modernize and strengthen student government so it functions more effectively, more responsibly, and more openly for the students it serves. Because representation is not about titles, it is about results.
Dillon truly loves Nevada. His favorite part of campus tradition is our fight song. When Dillon was thinking of what to run on, he thought of the last words “We are Nevada”. Those words weren’t just a song, they were the start of a movement. Dillon is running for President to help make Nevada a campus students want to be a part of.
Whether it's creating student programs like Pack Works or the Furthering Education Fee waiver program to help reduce costs or to bring energy and tradition back to campus, Dillon is committed to pushing forward policy with real results that will impact every student for the better.
The We are Nevada Campaign is built on the idea that we, the students, are what make this campus. It’s the students that truly have the power and we won’t be ignored. United in the idea of putting more money in students' pockets, putting pride back into the wolf pack and bringing ASUN back to the people, Dillon is asking you not to just vote for him but to be an important part of the movement. To bring in every student and show everyone that together, we are Nevada.
