Bio and Platform: Max Lucchesi is a passionate student at the University of Nevada, Reno, who strives to cultivate a community of success on campus. He is running as an incumbent senator for the College of Business and hopes to continue his work within ASUN to impact and improve The College of Business and the University itself.
Max believes culture is the foundation of any university. In hopes of growing this at UNR, Max plans to revitalize major events such as Homecoming and Welcome Week. He also intends to continue writing and supporting legislation that Strengthens this culture, including advancements in clubs, sports, and undergraduate outreach. He plans to keep pushing for inclusion and diversification within The College of Business, ensuring an environment where students can grow.
He understands the importance of bridging the disconnect between ASUN and the student body, hoping to create an effective path of students’ wants and needs to the table. Additionally, Max plans to expand professional events, such as the career fair, through diversification efforts, which will allow students a more thorough and in-depth experience.
In his free time, Max enjoys staying active through pickup basketball, running, and lacrosse. He also has a deep interest in movies and filmmaking, often exploring various cinematic storytelling techniques and genres.
Max Lucchesi is committed to generating a strong, inclusive campus culture and amplifying student opportunities. He promises to continue advocating for meaningful change at UNR.
