Bio and Platform: Ramila Kunguzhinova is a junior double majoring in International Relations and Finance who is passionate about student voice, cultural connection, and making campus life feel more supportive and engaging for everyone. As President of the International Club, Ramila has played a role in organizing different multicultural events, including Night of All Nations, helping bring students from different backgrounds together and creating spaces where people feel welcome, seen, and included.
Ramila’s platform focuses on making student government feel more connected to students’ everyday experiences. Student organizations shape campus life, yet club leaders often run into slow processes and confusing systems when planning events or accessing resources. Ramila supports clearer procedures and better communication so student leaders can spend more time building community and less time dealing with delays.
Affordability is another priority. Many students feel financial pressure related to academics and campus involvement. Ramila believes student government should help students better understand scholarships, campus resources, and cost-saving opportunities, while also making sure student fees are used in ways that create visible benefits for the student body.
Ramila also strongly supports international students as well as students from diverse cultural, academic, and personal backgrounds, recognizing that many navigate additional challenges while adjusting to university life. By encouraging stronger collaboration between student government, student organizations, and campus services, Ramila hopes to help every student feel informed, supported, and represented.
Ramila Kunguzhinova is committed to helping student government better reflect and serve the campus community.
