Bio and Platform: Riley Waters is a passionate and driven Biology major and member of the Honors College at the University of Nevada at Reno. She is eager to make a positive impact on the campus by combining her academic dedication with a deep understanding of student needs.

A strong advocate for student opportunities, Riley is particularly passionate about expanding access to research collaborations and internship programs. She is committed to ensuring that every student has the chance to engage in meaningful research opportunities that will not only enhance their education but also contribute to their future careers, especially those going the medical route.

In addition to these opportunities, Riley is determined to advocate for reducing financial barriers for students, particularly when it comes to fees. She understands the strain that high fees can place on students and is committed to working toward lowering these costs to ensure that education remains accessible for everyone, regardless of financial background.

With a unique combination of personal insight, academic drive, and dedication to advocate for students, Riley is ready to represent her peers and help shape a brighter future for all of UNR’s students.
