Engagement professional staff, for the purposes of determining my eligibility to hold an officer position in the Associated Students (hereinafter
“ASUN”). Any false statements may result in the cancellation of my application and/or Student Code of Conduct proceedings. By participating in
the University of Nevada, Reno (hereinafter “the University” or “UNR”) ASUN elections process, candidates agree to release and not hold the
University, the Nevada System of Higher Education, the Board of Regents, or ASUN accountable for any claims of copyright infringement or
damages arising from the use of their likeness or voice recording. Candidates also agree to not make any monetary claim against the
University or ASUN. Candidates further grant permission for UNR and ASUN to edit and use their likeness and recording in perpetuity for any
lawful purpose, including photographs and audio/visual recordings in any and all of its publications, in any and all other media, current or
future, controlled by the University/ASUN, and for any other use by the University and ASUN. Furthermore, candidates grant the University and
ASUN the right to edit, crop, or treat the photographs and/or recordings at their discretion. Candidates acknowledge and agree to attend the
Candidates’ Meeting on February 4th at 5:00 PM or to send a proxy in their place. Campaigning will begin at 8:00
AM on February 5th. Campaigning before this time will be considered an election violation. Any violations of the election or campaigning
guidelines may result in action by the Judicial Council. Candidates are solely responsible for any violations committed by a member of their
campaign team. If elected, candidates acknowledge and agree to attend the mandatory training sessions on April 5th between 8:00am and 5:00pm, as well as the ASUN Summer 2025 Retreat. Failure to attend both mandatory training sessions and ASUN Summer 2025 Retreat will result in automatic resignation by the individual. I acknowledge compensation is pending NSHE system approval.
